Update on Tomatoes

I was so disappointed by that tuna dish, I decided it needed a re-do.

Here's what I made tonight:

I gutted the tomato, and instead of cold tuna, I put chili inside. Then I topped it with cheese and baked it in the oven for 20 minutes.

I diced a portion of the tomato guts and chopped up lettuce---which I used to top the dish.

Then I sliced it down the side because I didn't know how else to eat it.

Basically a taco with a tomato shell. Brilliant.

And Gluten-free if you're into that!

I had a surprisingly productive day given that I goofed off last weekend and I slept all day yesterday. Maybe BECAUSE I slept all day yesterday, I was able to get more done today.

I've decided to work-out after writing instead of before. Usually on weekends, I go for a run when I wake up, eat a healthy breakfast, shower and then start writing. Superstitiously, I think I can write better with wet hair. (honestly, that's one of the better writing superstitions I have)

This morning, I tried to do the opposite and it worked. I think routines are good, but sometimes you need to break them to be more productive.

What are some of your writing superstitions?

Not that I think you can comment. But Tweet them at me! Or message them and I will tweet them. @undeadcookbook
